Project management for the Web introduction

This is an introductory class and is not intended for seasoned Internet project managers.

The scope and functionality of a Web site is determined by the business goals an organization seeks to achieve through its Web presence. Some common business goals include selling products online, entertaining Web audiences, educating learners, or distributing information. This course has been developed for students who are managing Web project for the first time or need some pointers on project management specifically for the Web. This course gives students the tools they need to clarify a site's business goals, plan the scope and functionality of a site accordingly, and manage its production cycle effectively.
