CorelDraw 12 Advanced

This 1-day course covers the advanced features and functions of CorelDRAW 12. Students will learn how to create multiple-page drawings, work with bitmaps, use advanced text features, and apply special effects to objects. They'll also learn how to import, export, and create Web-compatible drawings. This instructor's edition is designed for quick scanning in the classroom, and filled with interactive exercises.

Students will learn how to:

• Insert, rename, and delete pages and customize ruler settings, grids, and guidelines.
• Import, crop, and resize a bitmap and apply special effects, color, and tone effects to bitmaps.
• Import, wrap, and format paragraph text; fit text to path and combine, break, and link paragraph text frames; and create graphic or text and color styles.
• Use the Interactive Envelope tool; use stretching, intersecting, and welding options to shape objects; split objects by using the Knife tool and trim them; and create and edit PowerClip objects.
• Use the Interactive tools flyout to apply special effects and apply the perspective and lens effects.
• Import files to a drawing and export a drawing; set the Layout and Misc options for printing a drawing.
• Create a rollover and Web-compatible text, and create and display a hyperlink; prepare and publish a drawing to the Web; and save the drawing as PDF

Target audience

The target student for this class should have experience with using Windows XP and CorelDraw 12 at a basic level, perhaps through prior attendance on a basic course.
