SQL Server 2000 Administration

This intensive five day course will introduce students to administration of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 databases. The general objective of the course is to install SQL Server, create databases, import data, set up security, automate jobs and alerts, set up replication and create a robust backup regime.

Target audience

This course is appropriate for anyone who will be installing and managing SQL Server 2000. This includes implementations in small LANs, large enterprises, or any environment in between. It will also be helpful for anyone involved with database administration, anyone managing SQL Server implementation, and anyone considering SQL Server as part of a business solution. Previous experience of SQL Server would be useful as would administration experience with Windows NT or 2000.
