After completing this course, students will know how to:

  • Use variables, data types, functions, operators, and control structures.
  • Identify JavaScript objects and use Date and String objects.
  • Write to a Web page using document.write() and create a new window using the window.open() method.
  • Handle events on a form and write scripts for list boxes, check boxes, and radio buttons

Target audience

Students should have familiarity with personal computers and the use of the keyboard and mouse. Students should have completed HTML Basic and Intermediate courses or have equivalent knowledge and experience. In addition, students should have a knowledge of programming logic and techniques, and the basic concepts of object-oriented programming.
